  1. Why are the tickets priced above face value?
    Ticket prices are based on market value, which is influenced by supply and demand. For example, tickets to a popular show or game will be in high demand and low availability. As a result, the tickets will sell at the market demand price, which in this case, is an amount more than the price printed on the ticket. "Market demand price" is the price that clients are willing to pay for a ticket to a specific event. It may either be more or less than the price printed on the ticket. Therefore, we are constantly updating our ticket prices to accurately reflect the current market value. Our prices are subject to change at any time and without notice.
  2. How do we know that the tickets are genuine tickets?
    We take all necessary precautions to guarantee that our tickets are genuine. We use only licensed ticket brokers, and verify that all our ticket sources are reliable.
  3. Can I cancel for any reason after I place an order?
    No. All sales are final once you have confirmed the ticket purchase. No exchanges or cancellations can be made after purchase.
  4. Can I get tickets for events not listed on your website?
    Yes, simply submit a Request for Ticket for the event and we try to find the tickets that you are looking for.
  5. How do I know where my seats will be located?
    Your seats will be in the section that you ordered, but your exact seat location will not be known until the tickets are physically in our possession.
  6. Will my tickets be shipped to me on the same day I order them?
    Tickets are shipped when they become physically available. Once we receive them, we will ship them directly to you. This often happens within a few days after you make the purchase, but for some events, the tickets don't become available until closer to the event date. You are guaranteed that your purchase will arrive prior to the event.
  7. Can I have my tickets shipped to an address different than the address on my credit card?
    Yes, you have the option in your account with The Ticket Department to have an alternate mailing address.
  8. Will I get a refund if my event is rescheduled, rained out or postponed?
    We are not liable for refunds for circumstances beyond our control: rescheduled, rained out or postponed events (for any reason including acts of God). A local announcement will be made in the event area to indicate the date of the rescheduled event. Please retain your ticket as new tickets will not be issued.
  9. If an event is canceled in its entirety and is not rescheduled, how is it handled?
    Event cancelation is beyond our control, but if this happens we will refund the value of the ticket(s).
  10. What if my tickets are lost or stolen?
    Handle your tickets as though they were cash, as we cannot replace them. Lost or stolen tickets cannot be replaced, and will not have location slips issued in replacement.
